Grown on the volcanic slopes surrounding Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda, Sipi Falls is a speciality Arabica coffee from the renowned Bugisu region. The region’s high altitude, fertile volcanic soils and lush landscape create ideal conditions for producing complex and distinctive coffees.

Mount Elgon is an ancient volcanic mountain, once believed to have been one of Africa’s highest peaks. Its surrounding hillsides are home to rich forests, rivers and waterfalls, including the famous Sipi Falls, which has become a symbol of the region’s natural beauty and agricultural heritage.

The Bagisu community has cultivated coffee in the Mount Elgon region for generations, developing a deep knowledge and heritage of Arabica production. Working with local farmers, Kawacom (U) Ltd has focused on quality and innovation to help bring the distinctive character of Bugisu Washed Arabica to coffee lovers around the world.

In the cup, Sipi Falls offers vibrant notes of berries and ripe fruit that are balanced by a rich chocolate sweetness and smooth, clean finish.
