This Kenya Honeybush AB is grown by a number of smallholder farms in the high altitudes of the foothills of Mount Kenya.

AB refers to the graded size of the beans after processing with the AB being slightly smaller than the AA however in many cases the taste profile of the AB is at a higher standard.

The high-altitude plateaus where many of Kenyan coffee regions are based combined with acidic soil provides the growing conditions that provide the Kenyas distinctive coffee flavours.  The region’s temperate climate, rich volcanic soil & seasonal rains lends itself perfectly to specialty coffee growing. This high grown arabica has an intense crisp flavour, medium body and is distinctive by its pointed acidity and hearty character.
