The Antigua coffee region is one of the better known in Guatemala thanks to both the quality and quantity the region puts out. Nestled in the valley of the Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango volcanoes, it sits over 1,500 meters above sea level and has ideal coffee growing conditions with rich soils, ample rain and sun and relatively consistent temperatures.
The beans are fully washed and sun-dried, ensuring clarity and consistency in flavour. The volcanic soil and unique microclimate contribute to the beans’ distinct qualities, producing a clean cup with a refined profile. The cooperative model used by local farmers supports sustainable practices, resulting in high-quality beans.
