Roast Score

Named after the port from which the vast majority of coffee from Brazil is shipped, the São Paulo region enjoys weather ideal for naturally processing coffee cherries using the ‘dry’ process, allowing to dry in the sun.

Full-bodied and mild, Santos beans are dried inside their coffee cherries, naturally absorbing the sugars that carry sweetness into the cup. These sugars from the drying cherry also impart more soluble solids in the Santos bean, which amplify its body.
